There are a lot of food trends out there but knowing how the body reacts to food is key. This will boost your food confidence and you won’t have any diet FOMO.

Here are some top rules to live by.

Tip #1 - LESS OBSESSION, MORE FEELING

Strict rules, restriction, and calculating every bite is no way to live, let alone sustain. The goal is to build a foundation from understanding nutrition science so you can add in little treats and experience more without any guilt.

Tip #2 - BUILD MOMENTUM

If you say you’re going to the gym and your procrastination kicks in, your psyche remembers that. Instead, build respect for yourself by

sticking to what you set out to do. You are your most important client, customer, or business deal. Set yourself up for success so you never miss a meeting.

"When you feel like you are building momentum, keep it going." – Victoria Barla, Founder of Vantage Made

Tip #3 - DITCH THE FEAR OF FOOD

Food freedom is one of the most liberating transformations I’ve undergone. A lot of us feel overwhelmed with anxiety when it comes to food. We eat quickly, release stress hormones, and over think every bite. Fear not, because once you understand how food will actually optimize your body, it won’t have control over you.

Tip #4 - TRUST THE PROCESS

There are no quick fixes or miracle diets or dream body in 30 days. There is just consistency and time. Put in the work, exercise, be patient with yourself, and enjoy the journey.

Thanks for the feedback, Sally! Oh, and great catch on the last paragraph. I am excited to hear this resource was helpful. It truly is quite the journey and we need to remind ourselves we are only one person. Staying grounded is key. This is something I have been working on more recently for myself. Thanks again for sharing. See you virtually around!
